Ten years ago, California’s Open and Transparent Water Data Act (AB 1755) laid the foundation for a new era of collaboration. This October, the California Water Data Consortium invites you to look forward, not just back.
Join us for an evening reception marking AB 1755’s 10th anniversary and introducing the Consortium’s new Data to Resilience initiative — the next chapter in building a more resilient water and ecological future for California. This reception is invite-only.
Please note: This reception is separate from the Partner Agency Team’s AB 1755 celebration earlier that day, though the two venues are just a few minutes’ walk apart. If you’re attending both, getting between them will be easy.
Featuring remarks from:
- Former Senator Bill Dodd, author of AB 1755 and Consortium board member
- Robyn Grimm, CEO & President, California Water Data Consortium
- And more
The first ten years of AB 1755 built the foundation — the data systems, the partnerships, the trust. The next ten will determine whether California can move fast enough to meet the water and ecological challenges ahead. This reception is where that next chapter begins.
Light bites and drinks will be provided. We look forward to celebrating with you.
