Averi Burud

Averi Burud is the Communications and Administrative Coordinator for the California Water Data Consortium, where she supports internal and external communications and helps keep the organization running smoothly. She brings a foundation in environmental sustainability from her studies at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and a genuine commitment to protecting the water resources and coastal ecosystems that communities depend on.

Prior to joining the Consortium, Averi gained hands-on experience in environmental communications as an intern with Sustainable Coastlines Hawaiʻi, and served as Executive Administrator for Save Oceanside Sand, a grassroots advocacy organization working to restore and protect Southern California’s eroding shoreline. Her background in coastal environmental advocacy informs her dedication to building a more transparent and resilient water future.
